Nail Trimming

Regular nail trims prevent the development of mobility problems. Contact us today for more info.

Getting your dog used to nail trimming at an early age will help prevent struggles in the future. Regular nail trimming helps prevent the nails from breaking or catching on things and means fewer scratches to your floor, furniture and you!

How often should I cut my dog’s nails?

Many dogs need their nails trimmed on a regular basis, every 4-6 weeks or so. If your dog does a lot of walking on pavement or digging, likely the nails won’t have to be trimmed as regularly if at all. If you want to avoid the struggles at home, we can schedule you an appointment with our veterinary technicians to trim your pet’s nails with an assortment of handy tools (and of course lots of treats too!).
